Students of Light and Shadow

My friend Sam's and my World of Warcraft characters, Syrell and Arandur respectively. Syrell is a Rogue, Arandur a Paladin, thus the title. Both are Blood Elves. HORDE ROCKS!

I had WAAAAAAAAAY too much fun with this! No joke! Started as a doodle in my sketchbook in my Religion class because it was soooooo boring. The sketch ended up being really nice and clean... I didn't have to go over it again. I printed out a copy of it and started coloring it with my Prismacolor markers, which have been gathering dust. I've never been very good with them, but I just decided to screw around with them and this came out!

About five or six hues went into Arandur's skin alone, so that was pretty amazing. Then the lines were fun to scribble in. Overall this was so fun and I'm glad I got to take some time off (though I probably shouldn't have) to do some art.

And for those of you following along with the story, I've decided this is a picture of them in their youth... Arandur is dressed like a Blood Knight and carrying their shield. *nod nod*
